Operational Excellence - two words that summarize Workday's® focus in 2020R1 for Workday® Financial Enhancements. Workday® has automated a lot of manual work as well as delivered a more efficient way to do certain tasks. We chose to highlight a few of them here, and go into detail on this first one:

I started implementing Workday® in 2008 as a reporting and integrations consultant. This was back in the day before calculated fields, dashboards, and matrix reports. Like others on the team, I had my own opportunity to meet Dave Duffield at the Walnut Creek offices. He was carrying two bags of bagels on the elevator ride up to his office, and he generously handed me a bag to take to my Workday Fundamentals training class.
I have been working with Workday® since May of 2012 and it has been the most gratifying and rewarding experience of my career. I started in the ecosystem building integrations on HCM projects and after 1 year made the switch to start implementing Workday Financials. With my educational background and prior work experience more aligned with ERP and accounting & finance, this was a perfect fit.
